HP Men’s Club – Chapman Format– Two Person Team Event – (May 29th through Jun 4th)

Here is an opportunity to play in the HP Men’s Chapman Format – Two Person Team Event.

Players must enter as a two-some. As people are not always available to play on a certain day – the Chapman Format event will run from Mon May 29th through Sun Jun 4th and will cost $20 for each player ($40 per team). During this week you will play one round of 18 holes using the Chapman Format. Players are responsible for booking and paying for their own tee times during that week.

“Chapman System” is the name of a 2-person team competition format for golfers that works like this:
• Both golfers hit their tee shots;
• Each player then plays the other’s ball for the second shots;
• Then; the “best shot” of the second shots is selected, and from there the two partners play
alternate shot into the hole. (there is no “gimmie” rules – all putts are to be completed)
• The third stroke is taken by the golfer whose second shot was NOT selected as the “best
shot”
• This format will be used on all par 3, 4, and 5 holes
