HP CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
August 19th & 20th, 2023
FORMAT: Stroke Play
TEES: Championship Men – Blue Tees
Net Men/Senior Men – White Tees
Championship Women, Net Women and Senior Women– Silver Tees
PACE OF PLAY: All players are asked to abide to Highland Pacific’s Championship pace of play timeline of 4 hours and 35 minutes.
RULES: – Golf Canada rules to govern all play
– Local rules in effect
* Environmentally sensitive areas (marked by red stakes with green tops) will be treated the same as a lateral hazard except you MAY NOT enter them to find or play your ball.
– In case of a rules discrepancy within the group, please play two balls and a ruling will be made after play.
– In case of a gross score tie players will enter a sudden death playoff. In the case of net ties we will use a retrogressive countback comparing scorecards.
POWER CARTS: All carts are equipped with GPS. Features include; hole layouts, yardages to center of the green, and the guardian system. Your GPS screen will notify you if you have entered a restricted area, please reverse out.
SATURDAY KP’s: Men # 8 Pacific / Women # 9 Highland
SUNDAY KP’s: Men # 3 Highland / Women # 2 Pacific
* We will re-draw groups based on score Saturday afternoon.
* Saturday/Sunday round will be tee times starting at 7:27 a.m. The draw will be sent out via a newsletter.
* Appetizers & Prizes in banquet room following Sunday’s round.
Welcome HP Club Players to the 2023 HP Club Championship, to be staged on August 19th and 20th, 2023. All HP Club players may enter, providing they have a current, up-to-date Golf Canada handicap.
Entry includes green fees for both days, tournament entry, and a simple awards banquet on Sunday following the round. The field is limited to 60 players. More information will be sent to players on August 16th, 2023.
