Outside Service Attendant

Highland Pacific Golf will be accepting applications for an Outside Service Attendant for the 2018 golf season. The successful candidate will report directly to the Outside Service Team Leader and Head Golf Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet, welcome and provide information to all visitors
  • Assist guests with golf clubs and belongings
  • Clearly communicate throughout each day to all team members and management
  • Perform safe and orderly operation of shuttle and golf carts
  • Proper staging and cleaning of golf equipment (pull carts, golf carts, and rental clubs)
  • Be approachable, personable and display a strong work ethic
  • Ensure the policies of the facility are being enforced daily
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of power carts and driving range
  • Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Golf experienced
  • High level of customer service
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to perform well in a high paced environment
  • Good physical fitness is an asset to this position
  • Attention to cleanliness and detail

We are Victoria’s newest public golf course, just a short drive from downtown.  An 18-hole championship golf course built through rolling hills and rock outcroppings.  Stunning vistas of the Olympic Mountains, Pacific Ocean, and Downtown Victoria are abundant during your visit to Highland Pacific.   The facility is equipped with a 44 stall driving range, 22 of which are covered and heated for the winter months. Two practice greens and sand bunker for short game attention.  The club house includes a fully stocked golf shop, range café, and banquet room.

The facility is in operation 364 days a year.
